Weekend Romp at KL
Invitation by daniel to go KL with him and his friends last weekend sort of a short getaway.
Meet the gang at the bus terminal goldenmile complex to board the first class express bus service to KL. Waiting there was tommy, turns out daniel and gf (rach) was stuck in the rain and no cabs available so instead the bus will pick them up from tuas checkpoint.

Its my first time taking a first class bus. what i go was video on demand, a crappy looking earphone (which i need to switch over to mine) , service attendent , massage chair (not the osim type , just the vibration) , dinner in a box and unlimited kopi and tea...

Not to mention a busy guy sitting next to me yakking on the phone almost thru out the journey haha

The whole ride took an agonising 6 hours.. and we reached KL at about 1 am. Checked in at the ascott KL and rush down to meet our KL friends at poppy a club just next to our hotel. Well what i can say is that it is really pack almost no space to move around . So i wasn't really enjoying myself. Tried to move around to the back of the dance floor and i noticed that its really an obstacle course.. lotsa steps and alan almost trip and fell flat on the floor.

After clubbing we headed to a open air food stall for some good ole alfresco dinning 3 plates of assorted noodles. yummy ..before heading back hotel for some chit chats..i zonked out at about 5am while the rest headed to the pool for some swim and breakfast..

Next day we headed down to bukit bintang , sungei wang for some DVD shopping . Surprisingly all the DVD stores were shutdown. According to the store owner, there has been a crackdown on "friendly" DVD stores and will only return in a month time (wow they can predict when it ends).

Later on, we had some coffee at san francisco coffee joint nearby join in by tommys friend - i think irene . Before heading up to Genting Highland for some gambling fun.

Daniel friend ah kit and wife with daughter came and stayed with us at the ascott too. Thats rachel shes almost one... and one helluva playful kid

rachel is getting bored.. haha

Thunderstorm brewing on top of genting..

Later that nite after we came down from genting. We headed over to zouk / velvet for some clubbing. Joining us were tommy's chiongster friends , ken, tony, noriko, elise , joshua, alan. When you think of velvet over in singapore its always some cool trance music with a little soul and funk in the music. But here .. well its malaysian best loved music ...R and B...

Heres a video inside velvet..

We headed back to ascott again for more well after clubbing party. Not healthy really..

The chicks in question :)

The whole gang... high and dry

Third day packup my bags , prepare to meet tony, ken , noriko and her friend plus elise at the famous overseas restuarant. How famous.. well you have to book the char siew or bbq pork a day in advance so are all the soup. They have like many branches all over malaysia and a branch in singapore too. We are lucky to get book a table at their main branch.

We had like fried cod fish. noodles, the famous char siew , bacon stew with fried bun etc 8 course lunch to be exact.

Ahh that killer char siew... yummy.. oyishi!

The journey back is a long one... well hopefully we will come back again...

Cigar making demostration at QBA

Jon had a few round of dancing at the QBA but becoz the dance floor is small. I decide not to go in. The band was great consisting of cuban singers 3 ladies and a guy. The red wine was excellent too!
