Untitled
Have you have this feeling that people around you are suddenly being attached or married ...and you suddenly feel alone in this universe?...often so you feel that the world revolves around you but really you are revolving around the universe..

Okay forgive my ranting but maybe the drinks at the BBQ is too much or the SMS i am getting is too hard to dig in...too upsetting... perhaps its both...

Perhaps its just me and my exagerated thoughts....deeply confused...

Thanks shirley for the BBQ...:)

Injury upset again
Had a run at macritichie reservoir on Sat morning total distances was 9.5km. First run after recovering from a strain on my right leg. Well clocked a time of slight over an hour, With max HR of about 1.73 bpm. Unfortunately at the end of the run i kind of step on a rock and slip causing an ankle sprain (which is common for runners).

and the injury you guessed it on the right leg again.. (maybe i should replace my whole right leg ..any donors out there? )
New investment- Salomon hydrobelt 45°
Got this at the salomon boutique at suntec. There is this massive 30percent discount there. got this at about 33 bucks. Had my first run with this on saturday at macritchie reservoir and it has proven its worth. Theres no abrasion using the belt and reaching for the bottle was a breeze , so was putting it back thanks to the angular opening ( felt like a quick gunslinger ) . It hugs close to my back and even have a pouch for me to put in my sunglasses.

Full Description
"The Hydrobelt 45° was designed for running, nordic skiing and snowshoeing. Snap one buckle and your ready to go!

The Hydrobelt with the innovative 3D bottle makes hydration quick and easy and fits in the small of your back. The bottle compartement is insulated and has reflective material to keep your liquid hot or cold longer.

You can draw the 3D water bottle easily with one hand and holster the bottle just as easy. The 3D bottle is shaped like a modified triangle. It is flat and larger on one side so it fits comfortably against your back.

The zippered pocket is large enough for keys and a couple energy bars. Coolmesh lines the entire contact area. The trim is reflective for safety.

Ergonomics on the Hydrobelt are a step above the competition. 21 fluid ounce capacity.

The Salomon Hydrobelt 45° is ideal for hiking, running, nordic skiing, snowshoeing, etc."

In another word, great for all my runs

Caribbean delights
We are not exactly talking about the caribbean island over at mexico, bermuda. But Caribbean condo here in singapore right next to harbour front. Touted as the fine waterfront lifestyle next to the resort island of sentosa.

Was invited for a BBQ by my friend who bought a unit there as an investment sort. A 2 rooms apartment there fetches a whopping amount of SGD700,000 buckaroos..Thats crazy amount but in high costliving singapore its about normal.

Well here are some shots of the condo.

This is waterfront living

Hmm reminds you of venice?..minus the gondola

The BBQ pit.. BK burger grill style!

Heres what happen if you put in too much charcoal.. the whole place up in flames...Call the fire brigade!!

To those who had been in love before...
Happened to hear this song on a podcasting one day.

The song speaks of someone who happened to see his ex-gf on the train with another guy or bf. And how he yearns of the time they were together and how she is beautiful to him. Funny things happens. like heart beat racing everytime he bumps into her.. Finally accepting the fact they can never be together..

James Blunt - You're Beautiful Lyrics
My life is brilliant.
My love is pure.
I saw an angel.
Of that I'm sure.
She smiled at me on the subway.
She was with another man.
But I won't lose no sleep on that,
'Cause I've got a plan.

You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw you face in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll never be with you.

Yeah, she caught my eye,
As we walked on by.
She could see from my face that I was,
F**king high,
And I don't think that I'll see her again,
But we shared a moment that will last till the end.

You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw you face in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll never be with you.
You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
There must be an angel with a smile on her face,
When she thought up that I should be with you.
But it's time to face the truth,
I will never be with you.

Army half marathon 2005
This is my race report for the sheares bridge / Army half marathon.
First time i am doing this event of 21km almost twice the distance i did for last year AHM of 12km. As i am quite trained for events like this , therefore there wasn't expecting any problem encountered. But i guess i was wrong. having done 10km/ 13km training run per week was not enuough.

Woke up early at 4am meet up with J at amk to hitch a ride to the padang for the flag off. K din manage to go coz he got headache or butterflies in the stomache hmm not sure about that. Taz was at the esplanade brigde waiting for us (us includes J , Sh, K) . He urshed us to the start point. As usually the purpose of the run is not to win, But to enjoy the run.

The journey was long but enjoyable we started out as a group but at some point. Taz, J and K forged ahead (i believe at the east coast turning point ) me and Sh maintain at a slow and constant pace at about 178 Bpm . At about kallang stadium i lost Sh somewhere in the drinking point area. At this time gulp down a pack of Energy gel as i feel my body is weakening. The water point i notice is not as colorful as last year ( maybe the army folks are cutting cost ?) .
About esplanade part i caught sight of Taz (or rather he caught sight of me) and K. Taz cough was back in action again and was forced to slow down ( his last year timing was 2hr 07 mins dun pray pray) . The road seems tougher with every ending min...And by the time we reach the finishing line. As usual J was there. Collected her goodie bag and had a drink already. Geez wonder what timing she got (coz she had no watch to time) oh well not a bad run as this is my first 21km run.

A run not to be forgotten..

21km - Time clocked 2hr 29mins

Heres the group photo taken
Not the most glam place to be at ..the carpark

An Interview with Ms Lara Croft (Tomb Raider fame)
Me : Hi Lara Welcome to singapore,
Lara : Thank you very much
Me: So i heard you had a boob job recently is that true? Coz atheletic females normally do not have huge boobs.
Lara : Thats not true, atheletic birds like me uses sport bra thus hiding the boob size.
Me : Oh so you arent wearing one today eh..no puns intended
Lara : *blush*

Older but faster
Hmm i did a recent search on my run time for last year Real Run compared to this year timing.
And to my surprise i had improved by over

Real Run 2004 = 01:20:17
Real Run 2005 = 01:09:30
Difference of 10 mins!

Had a meal at pepper lunch the latest francise from japan. Interesting concept, where you kinda cook your own steak and burger patties. Using their magical sauce ( which i like). And i have heard that it will remain warm for up to 20 mins. ( just a gentle reminder do no where light colored clothing just in case the sizzling steak splatter any of the sauce on your shirt).
Its cool none the less.

Dig in

In another development , i have just collected my number tag for the Army Half Marathon and heres the number.. hurry go buy 4D
