Weekend update

Friday
Was quite a happening weekend so i decided to blog it down

Went over to eves bday BBQ party at eastcoast - island park resort , Came down early thinking i might do some running a few km before the bbq unfortunately it started pouring. So make do by helping to prepare the pit and the food. Not to mention setup the music for the night

Later on guess starts to come in and familiar faces like dias , giselle , joe , redmond, Calvin etc pops in. Happy to see most of them already attached..

After which i heading down to JB for supper with jon and serene. Had seafood there and my fav smelly beancurd.

A foody night.. definately need to exercise






Saturday












FHM girl next door finals at cafe del mar tonight!.. Got a flyer about the event from ryan and we all signed up as you guess only the guys signed up.

Met the guys at Vivo for a meal at the sarawak famous kor lo mee stall. Before heading into the sentosa resort. Got our free bottle of beer and before i could say this is the last bottle for the night..
Low and behold we bump into siyi , who given us free VIP pass into the restricted zone of free beer (thanks to singha) and barcardi mix!

With beer/drinks and good view of the event who would ask for more.

Again after the event we head down to chinatown for supper..
Okay i really need to exercise this time round!






Sunday
Was invited to kwai sum bday party according to jon. So met up with li hsia to taka and hastily got a present before heading down to the party at brownsugar at the Stardus building. The place was pack with people from all walks of life. What really interesting was the guest list includes whos who in the industry and celebrity. Just to name a few is dick lee , benedict goh and other ceo and lawyers (one used to defend CSJ) , Also conductor from SSO. Was an interesting Networking session i must say.

The party ended at brownsugar around 11 but it wasn't so for us just a few mins walk , we were invited to maple's house for some tea and conversation thats like right next to Mr LKY house. Gosh and i mean its big with 4 or 5 floors with an elevator too. We talked about the politics and stuff like that.

Well thats it for this week.. back to work!

hmm pretty gal but unfortunately she drank alittle too much or some other reason. And this happens.

Weekend was quite a blur, everything happened so fast. Friday went down to St James for a small drinking session with jon and maybe KH but along the way we met john. And vic / kevin with their friend. Then bump into step and friends and finally serene and friends. Gosh is the whole world in st james that night? After the clubbing as usual we had supper or should i say breakfast at geylang's"wen do siek" dim sum place.

Sat - Went to sign up for my espanol class over at bencoleen street. Meet missy J at orchard with her friend hilda for a cuppa. Before heading home for some "Me" time.

Sunday - missed out on the BG run cause i guess i remembered the date wrongly! Oh well at least i ran yesterday. Meet up with dal for some drinks over at peranakan place, bump into cheryl and vinn. Where Cheryl mentioned again that i have slim down.. well at this point i like to add that she too have slimmed down.

Have not been posting here since last year but maybe i will again. Just got back from Hongkong will be posting my trip review on my other blog.

These days you can't rely on your friends too much. They will fly ur kite or aeroplane which ever is bigger. This weekend i got flown 2 times. upsetting.. but i am used to it

Oh well i did visited oosh! lastnite as recommended by some friends. This time round was with my group of guys from salsa class. Nice chillout pub alfresco style with water and greens scenery all around. Tonight guest singer was tracy (ex actress in the show growing up i think). Most of the song played were from stings album like field of gold, shape of my heart etc.

After that we drove down to central mall to look for the thai pub live impact. But we failed to find it.. oh well so we headed down to bras brasah for supper at the one beside the hotel. Disappointing to describe most of the food ordered did not make the mark.

What a way to end the night!

Yah 2 matches at the same time! why they organise it this way?!! I have to turn to RTM 1 and P2PTV streaming to watch both matches on my PC so troublesome!

Well this is our last lesson of salsa level 1.5 .. and a group photoshoot taken for prosperity. Will be attending my bachata class later this week.
